Zoom in and out of a page

Many programs including Google Chrome and Microsoft programs support zooming in and out of a page or document also support the zoom keyboard shortcut.

Keyboard and mouse

Press and hold Ctrl and scroll the wheel on your mouse up to zoom in or down to zoom out. For example, you can do this now to zoom in and out on your browser.

Keyboard only

Press and hold Ctrl and press - (minus) key or + (plus) key to zoom out or in of a web page or document. The - and + keys next to the backspace key, and on the numeric keypad, can be used.

Reset the zoom level

To reset the zoom back to the default view, press and hold Ctrl and 0 (zero) key.

Using the zoom slider

In Microsoft Word, you can use the zoom slider to zoom in and out of a Word document.
