Program command used to send and receive e-mail.
elm [-a] [-c] [-dn] [-fx] [-h] [-k] [-K] [-m] [-sx] [-V] [-v] [-w] [-z]
*Before elm can be ran an elm configuration file .elm file must be on the root or root of the user profile.
| -a | Use the arrow pointer regardless |
| -c | Check the given alias only |
| -dn | Ret debug level to 'n' |
| -fx | Read folder 'x' rather than incoming mailbox |
| -h | Help |
| -k | Enable HP 3622 terminal keyboard |
| -K | Enable use of softkeys + "-k" |
| -m | Turn off menu, using more of the screen |
| -sx | Subject 'x' - for batchmailing |
| -V | Enable sendmail voyeur mode |
| -v | Print out ELM version information |
| -w | Suppress warning messages |
| -z | Don't enter ELM if no mail is pending |
elm -z
Opens ELM if mail is waiting however returns to prompt if no mail is waiting.
