The verify command enables or disables a feature that determines whether or not files are written properly.

Availability

Verify command is an internal command that is available in the following Microsoft operating systems.

Verify syntax

Tells the Windows command line (cmd.exe) if it should verify the files are written correctly to a disk.

VERIFY [ON | OFF]

Type VERIFY without a parameter to display the current VERIFY setting.
