Founded in September 2001, JMicron Technology is a manufacturer of integrated circuits, which they use in their controller chips. Their chips develop a USB to SATA bridge controller, USB to FireWire bridge controller, and SSD controller chips.
JMicron was one of the first companies to sell their controller chips to Corsair, OCZ, and Transcend, for use in those manufacturers' SSD devices.
