Pure Digital Technologies

Founded in 2006, Pure Digital Technologies was the developer of Flip video cameras and tapeless camcorders for digital video. They were acquired by Cisco Systems in March 2009. Production of the line of Flip video cameras ran from 2006 to April 2011. On April 12, 2011, Cisco announced that it "will exit aspects of its consumer business," which included shutting down Flip.
