Founded in 1990 through the merger of Warner Communications and Time Inc. Time Warner (formerly AOL Time Warner, modernized as Time Warner) is an American multinational media corporation based in New York City in the Time Warner Center.

It consists of three divisions; Warner Bros., HBO (Home Box Office Inc.), and Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. Time Warner is the world's third largest television networks and filmed TV & entertainment company in terms of revenue and was once the world's largest media conglomerate.

It's subsidiaries are HBO, CNN, DC Comics, New Line Cinema, Turner Broadcasting System, The CW Television Network, Warner Bros., Kids' WB, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Adult Swim, Warner Bros. Animation, Hanna-Barbera, Castle Rock Entertainment and Cartoon Network Studios.
