Founded in October 2004, YoYo Games is the developer of the popular GameMaker IDE (video game development software). YoYo Games' latest IDE software is GameMaker Studio 2, providing cross-platform development capabilities for video game developers.
In January 2015, Playtech acquired YoYo Games for $16.4 million, and is now a subsidiary of Playtech.
