OC a Phenom X2 545
« on: February 23, 2010, 02:02:34 PM »
Its basically a crap idea, I know but then thats the crap I'm stuck with. This 2-core Phenom with the multiplier locked and a GA-M61PME-S2P which isn't OC friendly either :'( .

I managed to set FSB=223 and Multiplier=15 which gave a 3345 MHz . But the problem is sometimes (just once or twice out of ~25 attempts) would it start successfully, rest it would just enter BIOS SAFE MODE: SYSTEM DEFAULTS LOADED :( . What are the possible reasons for that?
