    DHCP Client Server
    « on: March 03, 2010, 06:23:11 PM »
I'm running windows Vista on a HP Compaq laptop.  I tried to install a Speedstream 6520 modem. Now when I start the computer I ger a "DHCP Client Server nortrunning" error. I checker the services under Administrative Tools and DHCP is set to rum automatically. Startup has really slowed down!

Speedstream 6520 modem has specific instructions for the setup.
Are you in Canada? Europe? Did you get a manual for the modem? And is this modem recommended by your local DSL company? Did you have a modem before on DSL and bought this one to replace it? Have you installed a DSL modem before?
