quick launch bar cleared

Recently the quick launch bar is cleared in my PC.Any one know why and how to resolve this? Maybe this is done by a web browser I installed before but I have forgotten what the brower was and where to find it....

I meant all the items in the quick launch are removed ...

But the quick launch bar is still there? What led up to this (new hw, sw, virus, error, etc)? Have you tried adding items to the quick launch bar? When I asked for more details, this is the type of information I meant. If you want us to help you, you need to help us.

There should be some way to track which program does this by adding some new items and wait for removing, but any one knows how?

Yes it's still there but empty.
I guess this is caused by some sw but don't know which.
Tried adding new items but they are removed again some time later (often after rebooting).
