    my problemis that my computer is always re starting and shuting down on its own,i have already check it for virus and still i have the problem,im hoping that some1 can tell me that solution,i have a gigabyte motherboard with 2.7 mbps 4gb ram 500gb hard drive,i think that maybe my ram is incompatible with my 500gb,help me plz,and my os is vista ultimate.

    Overheating is usually the first suspect when a computer is shutting down and restarting.
    When was the last time you cleaned it out?
