    Lost Power Schemes.
    « on: May 10, 2010, 11:19:38 AM »
I cannot find this anywhere in the Search on this forum, so here goes:

I have suddenly lost my Power Schemes. All the options are greyed out.  I have restored  twice going back a day then a week, when I know they were then showing.

The monitor still shuts down after its pre selected 2 minutes, but I am unable to reset any options. Am on a laptop on mains power and the battery is 100%. Windows XP3

      Hi,

      1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK.
      2. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

      powercfg /RestoreDefaultPolicies

(This command works only if you have Service Pack 2 installed.)
