    Mouse movement problem.
    « on: May 14, 2010, 02:48:47 PM »
I have a Logitech USB optical cordless mouse. Never had a problem with it. I got myself a new capture device, a Video Grabber with ShowBiz 2 software. When I run the program, it changes my 800 x 600 screen to 1024 x 768 and the mouse slows down dramatically. There is a distinct "delayed" reaction of several seconds and it is difficult to aim the damned thing.
I tried to capture with another program called VirtualDub. When I switch to the "capture mode" and the preview screen comes on, the mouse reaction is also slow, though better than the much bigger ShowBiz.
Is there some reason the mouse reaction slows so much with the video capture. I'm sure it must use a lot of resources. Is there a way of changing the reaction time fot the better?
