    Sudden loss of several Office programs, other applications

    I recently had a virus on my HP Notebook with XP and after removing it I now get error messages which say "Application Not Found" every time I try to open any of the Microsoft Office 2003 applications or even when I try to open "View System Information" or "Add or Remove Programs" under system tasks.  Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on?  Thanks!

    The first thing I will suggest is to go HERE and follow the directions exactly.  Post a new thread in the virus section, don't post any of the logs in this thread.

    <edit>That will let us make certain that the problem is dealt with before continuing.</edit>

    You are either still infected or your file associatiions got screwed up from it...

    Click Here...  and get cleaned up...
