IBM trouble
« on: July 16, 2005, 05:05:02 AM »
Hi there , I am a newbe to this (exciting) IT thing, could someone piont me in the right direction? I have an old IBM with a formatted HDD and only a stiffy to boot from. How can I make the formatted HDD bootable in order to load another operating system. My problems are that the stiffy and the CD rom plug into the same slots(can only use one or the other) I do not get the option to boot from the CD ROM from the setup. What can I do to load an operating system???
