Virus or something invaded my laptop.
    « on: June 04, 2010, 09:07:55 PM »
I suspect a virus has gotten pass my McAfee. When I start up my computer I get a pop up that blocks the whole screen wanting me to register. It is title miRC32. I have went through all my folders and have deleted it, but it keeps coming back. I am unable to run a scan with my McAfee, it starts and it says that it has encountered a problem and that I should try again.  I have tried numerous times and it is unable to run a scan.  Also, I have been unable to Ctrl, Alt, Del and start Task Manager. When I attempt it, I get a pop up stating that the Administrator has disabled this function.  This is the first time I have encountered something like this.  Any advice would be appreciated.
