GeForce 9500 GT 1 GB DDR2 PCIe 2.0 Graphics Card
    « on: July 27, 2010, 11:07:16 AM »
Hi everyone. I just brought a GeForce 9500 GT 1 GB DDR2 PCIe 2.0 Graphics Card for Dell. I am worried because the card needs a minimum of 350 watts of power. Unfortunately, my Inspiron 560 only has a power supply of 300. Will this card work in my system? The rep said it would. I do not believe her. Can someone please help me with this matter. Thank you. mary

Minimum of a 350 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 18 Amps.)

Why don't you look on the psu and see what the rating label says, i.e. +12V current rating of 18A.
