Hide IP address

there are a lot of software tools about that can create a hidden IP address status either through proxy or moving around proxies.
My question is can this be done if you are using a router, even on forums like computer hope I find that My IP address and ISP are showing. what I want to do is sometimes hide it or camoflage it while using my router a Netgear FVS318

Only by means of proxies.

It requires to see your adress, otherwise it does not know where to send the datagrams and packets to.

Hiding your adress would be like supplying the mail delivery service with a wrong postal code and adress number.

Using a proxy would be like renting a mailbox.
