YouTube vids slow!

Ok So I installed a fresh copy if windows on my old previous computer I had and Its running windows xp SP3. Anyway I have all the plug-ins and still youtube vids run slow i can here all the audio but the video is bad. My old IBM a20m thinkpad is able to run vids perfectly running windows 98 SE. I don't get it. Plus When i run vids the performance of the CPU is 100%. Would installing windows 2000 correct this? Or a diff web browser. Im using saffari. Here are my specs:\

900MHz AMD Duron CPU
512 Mb SD RAM
15.3 GB hard drive.
64 MB graphics Nvidia card.


and specs of my old thinkpad:
500 MHZ intel pentiumm2 processor
128 mb RAM
12 GB hard drive

If the thinkpad can so can this! Im using opera on the thinkpad running windows 98

Try using Firefox www.mozilla.com/firefox.
As it is the fastest browser IN THE WORLD!

I prefer Chrome over Firefox. I find that it is actually quicker

Does this only happen with flash videos?
Have you tried to update flash player?

Get a faster web connection....i suspect this is NOT a browser issue...
