Windus Maximus

I was curious about ALL Windows users, but you have to pick a subforum, so I picked this one.

Anyway, I have a very definite opinion about opening windows (lower-case) maximized vs. "normal", and I frequently get frustrated with the way that Windows (upper-case) behaves. But then I thought, well, maybe it behaves that way because that's the way The People WANT it to behave, and I'm the odd duck.

Hence this poll.

I prefer programs to show their windows how I last left them. Thankfully, 99.9% of all programs do this. the rest are crap anyway.

I'm not sure i exactly get the question as i have all apps and programs do what i want them to do...not what they might want to do...

But what's your preference? Maximized? Or not? THAT'S the question!

(And 7 doesn't always leave it as you left it...)

It depends on the program really.  I have some that I open maximized all the time and others that open in a 'normal' size.  For example Safari and FireFox both open maximized, my calculator opens normally sized.

(And 7 doesn't always leave it as you left it...)

Again, it has nothing to do with the OS.

The programs I use most are max - the other programs that I; eg. when adding something to a certian server, will be normal - makes it easier to swap between the different programs.
