Thumbnails for Open Office Documents. My problem
Using Open Office 3.2 thumbnails of documents are visible in Windows Explorer.
Here is a screen shot of Desktop.
In documents 2 and 3 you can see the image of the inserted JPG file.
But in Documents 1 and 4 it is not visible.
But it is there. 
The workaround is to save the file as RTF, open it with WordPad, then insert the JPG again, then save it. Now the Thumbnail is OK.
After the file is converted back to the ODT format the thumbnail view still shows the embedded image. But if I have to change the image, Open Office no longer gives the thumbnail with the image. Drives me crazy!
As far as I know, this thumbnail feature is part of Open Office,
- not Windows Explorer.
Is there something I am missing? What should I try next?
