I accidently deleted my usb port drivers

I accidently by mistake deleted my usb port drivers so my mouse and keyboard aren't working. I don't ps2 ports. And I don't know how to fix my computer. I'm typing on my laptop.

USB ports don't use 3rd party drivers, so just tell us EXACTLY what you did - EVERYTHING that happened.

If USB hubs and roots are deleted a simple re-boot enables Windows to re-install them...

Yep... One simple reboot is enough, OS reinstalls them after the reboot

Well I did a rootkit scan with the latest avg and then after I restarted my comp the mouse and keyboard and all the usb ports stopped working. I tried to do system restore but I'm missing the system restore exe file. I got ps2 keyboard which I'm using as a mouse as well.

Why did you do a rootkit scan? Did it find anything?

Are there any errors in device manager?

How do you know that your missing the system restore exe? Did you get an error message?

 What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?

And please explain your first post where you say you deleted the driver.

I don't know I think I deleted my driver. The rootkit scan detected hidden drivers and I just deleted them all because avg said they were bad. But the ps2 mouse and keyboard work so any one know how to make the usb ports work again. I plug anything in them and they don't work. I tried updating the drivers and rolling back the drivers but it didn't work. And the system restore file is missing and saids error when I type it in msdos.

Try posting a screenshot( http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php?topic=61232.0 )of your Device Manager and expand/click USB controllers before hitting "Print Screen" to check on any marks under these controllers...

You could also check on Windows services : Plug and Play(default is automatic), Universal Plug and Play(Manual) and SSDP Discovery Service(Manual).
Click Start->Run->Type services.msc->Look for the above services mentioned and check on their Start up type defaults. If one is not of the same startup type, try changing it by right-clicking it(ex. plug and play) and choose properties. And on the startup type(arrow key) choose the default and click "Apply". Other possibility are on the BIOS settings configuration but its still yet to be cleared on the issue related...
