Communicator without the chat, is it possible ?

I'm trying to find a software as communicator or msn, but i don't want everybody to be able to send instant messages, no tchat.

Does anybody know a software with this ability ?

Have you checked into the free ventrillo service. You will have to host it yourself or have another person host it to run free. Otherwise to use a ventrillo hosted service comes at a cost. Also the free license is limited to non-commercial use.

you can try Netsend, dmessage or winpopup.

i used to work with Netsend. And i also tried new software as dmessage or winpopup. I tried the first cause you can download it on their website

I have learnt that netsend has been deleted under windows7.

I tried lantalk.net but it doesn't completely reply to my need.

I downloaded dmessage (http://www.dmessage.com/download-message-pop-up.html) and winpopup (http://www.commentcamarche.net/download/telecharger-34058263-winpopup-net-messenger. I am  testing both of these two solutions.

Is any one know about those softs ?
