    Boot drivers needed?
    « on: January 10, 2011, 03:54:18 PM »
I did a boot log and saw that a lot of drivers fail to load and was curious as to if there was a way to make windows just not check these drivers during startup if they aren't needed?

    Attaching boot log to post.

Go back to your Windows Advanced Options(F8) and choose Disable Boot Logging.

That's not what I really meant. If you looked at the ntbtlog.txt file, you would see that many of the drivers aren't loaded. I checked boot logging to see the log myself and wanted to know if there is a way to not even attempt to load these drivers that aren't being used at startup.

      Thanks for your reply.

If there is no device detected or compatible for the OS generic driver listed there is nothing to worry unless its causing a start up or system crash. If you installed any drivers then uninstall it or check on your device/driver manager.
