Windows 7 Disabled ctrl and alt??
    « on: April 22, 2011, 09:01:42 AM »
Hello, yesterday i turned off computer and everything was working perfectly. today i turned it on and i cant login to my user account and theres only 1 user (me). my password has 2 @@'s and the ctrl and alt were disabled i think because i also tried using the onscreen keyboard and cant make the symbols either.
my keyboard is portuguese and uses alt + ctrl+2 to make these symbols. HELP OR I CANT LOGIN TO MY COMPUTER! (not this 1).

Remember i already tried the Onscreen keyboard! ctrl and alt doesnt work either

Boot into the Admin account via safemode and change your account settings back to your liking...

      that is my admin account.
No, it isn't. the administrator account is hidden, you have to perform a registry tweak or start in safe mode to even see it. Your account is merely a member of the administrators group; it's still a separate account, though. It might not even have a password.

If the keyboard for some reason reverted to the "default" you can create @ signs using Shift+2.

So, you cant start windows in Safe mode, or you can start safe mode but cannot see admin account!

You need to be more descriptive with your replies!

Have you tried the English way to get the @ symbol, by using shift + '      ??
