Computer won't turn on
« on: August 22, 2005, 08:26:52 PM »
My computer slowly started having problems turning on.  I first switched out the power switch and then was told that my power supply was not getting enough voltage.  I got a new power supply and it turned on fine twice and now will not turn again at all.  I once even put my old power switch back in and it turned on then wouldn't turn on again.  Any ideas?

when you turn on the computer are the fans running in the computer, heatsink Fan and Power supply Fan. Check for any loose Peripherals Ram, Cards..ect Is it a faulty power switch. Need somemore info on what motherboard windows.. ect.

There are no noises, beeps, fans, or anything.  I have no power at all.  Its like it is not plugged into an outlet, which it is bt the way.

Your Power Supply Unit may have failed. Try testing it on another computer or test another PSU in this computer.
