    computer comes on after shutting down

     my computer comes on at times on its own after logging off and shutting it off.it comes on during the night and during the day at any given time.

    Check in bios for a setting that says something like Wake On Lan and if you find it, disable it.

      When your system first boots watch the screen for a message that says something like: To enter bios (or setup) press ??. Then press whatever key is indicated.
