    Some keyboard keys not functioning on a laptop

    I have a compaq presario laptop which used to work fine not long ago. Recently some keys on the keyboard, to be precise from the Z to The arrow keys including the space bar are not working any longer. Could this be virus action or dirt issue? I need help.

    It would be dirt issue or defective. My suggestion... bring it to your service center if it still has warranty or bring it to computer repair shop.
