adobe flash player help.
« on: August 06, 2011, 02:42:56 PM »
I just got a older version of the mac computer, 10.4 with safari 4.0.  I keep trying to install adobe flash player and a message comes up saying:  Adobe flash can't be installed, Devices with power pc processors are no longer supported.  Click below to download last version of flash player for power pc. I tried to uninstall and install an older version without success.   Is there anything I can do.  I know nothing about Mac computers.  Thanks

you are trying to install the x86 version of flash on a powerpc-based mac, and you can't because the architecture is fundamentally different...
