mouse issues?

when I click at the top (header) I can get the mouse to work fine, but when I try to click on the page I can't get it to work.  ie., I can type in the browser and work the arrows, so I ca for exammple get to facebook, but when the page comes up I can't click on anything on the page, that is, no hand, just an arrow.

Did you try another mouse? What kind of mouse do you have?

We know that the mouse click works and that the ponter moves, so I doubt it is the mouse unit itself. I am suspecting malware infections as the cause of this issue. Please try a post in the VIrus/Malware forum section and they wil be able to guide you further.
