Hi and welcome to Computer Hope!

It might you uninstalled the program before, but it didn't quite uninstall itself correctly and it's still listed as an installed program.

Have you tried the program CCleaner? It can uninstall programs. Not sure if it will help, but you can give it a try. You can download the program here

To uninstall, delete, or rename a program:

        1. In CCleaner, click the Tools icon at left.
        2. In the Uninstall screen, select the name of the program you want to uninstall from the Programs to Remove list.
        3. Do one of the following:

    • Click Run Uninstaller to run the program's uninstaller.
    • Click Rename Entry to give the program a new name in this list only.
    • Click Delete Entry to remove the program's uninstall entry, without uninstalling it. (This is recommended for advanced users only, for when a program has been removed but the uninstall entry remains.)

What is the program you are trying to uninstall? Have you tried the Add or Remove Programs Tools?

Alternatively, reinstall then uninstall (preferably using Revo).
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.

I agree with the above post. You can try Revo uninstaller (http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html).

If that doesn't do it for you, reinstall the program to the same location as it is currently installed and then try uninstalling it again.
