For some time now I have been unable to install many things that require .NET framework to run as well as install Windows updates. I get error codes after the updates fail to install such as 66A, 64C, 6B2, 2, and 8024200D. When I try to install/remove windows or non windows programs I get an error (See error1.gif attachment) I can't help but not get this error. I have done many things to try to fix this problem, like a sfc scan, chkdsk, ms fixit, and sys restore.

I have tried uninstalling .NET framwork with and without the dotnetfx cleanup tool but it does not work. How can I fix this without having to send it in for repair or having to backup/format/reinstall os?
