How can I Screen Shot a Video?
« on: October 21, 2011, 09:03:02 PM »
While playing an avi video, I want to do a screen shot of the frame I was watching. I hit the print screen button then went to the MS paint program and did a paster. The result wasn't  not at all what I wanted. It did indeed catch the screen, but the video was still playing and it was in a frame. Do you know what I mean?
Anyway, how do I catch just a still frame of a video?
It is a AVI movie.
Usoig VLC player.
Dell laptop with Intel graphics. (Inspiron E1705)
Windows XP pro.
1 GB memory

How Can I catch a single shot of the video?

Now I have a picture Tom Hanks.

I've used it for taking snapshots of many things. as can be seen by the contents of my pictures folder:

Nothing atypical here, surely these are the types of images one would find on any 24 year old male's Computer.
