Connecting wireless headphones
« on: September 06, 2005, 04:08:52 AM »
OK, I just bought some Sony wireless headphones in the USA for use on a UK PC - stupid idea, I know, but two seperate Sony employees assured me that the only problem was the power plug, which would need a UK adaptor - which isn't a problem.

Now I'm back, and the the black square-ish optical cable that is supposed to be universal does not have a plug in any of my PCs. There is a plug that it will go into on the back of a Hi-Fi system, but the line-in/out plugs on the PCS are round and smaller. Is the correct plug hidden away on my PC, do I need to get an adaptor and if so where, or do I need to send them an irritated email?

PS. the headphones also include analogue plugs, which look a similar sort of size to the line in/outs on my PC, but there is no cable included for them.
