    Hey guys, im looking for some help. i would like to upgrade my computer and need some advice.
     i have an Asus P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP motherboard, 620w power unit, Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz, 2394 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s), 4GB Corsair memory, NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT Graphics Card and am running win 7 x64. i would like to know mainly about the highest spec processor i can put on this board and i am looking to get this graphics card Point of View 3GB GeForce GTX 580 Performance Boost NVIDIA Graphics Card and i would like to know if i need a new power unit to achieve these upgrades? i am a gamer and will be playing games like Battlefield 3 and Skyrim. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    As for myself, If you are really into high performance, you need to sell what you have a buy all new stuff. The new stuff out there is getting better every day. But that is just me.

      cant really afford a whole new computer just a couple of modifications until the end of next year.

      Understood. If you can, just wait.
      Do the math.
      What can you get for your PC now?
      How much can you afford for upgrades now?
      Add the two together. What do you get?
      The top of the line PC in the link I gave above is $1250. It has the video card you want and it is quad core. Plus a 80 GB SDD and a 1 TB HDD. And top line RAM. A gamers dream.
