Computer Updates and Crashing || Windows 7
    « on: May 10, 2012, 04:28:33 AM »
Hi, I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit, Service Pack 1 and I've begun to notice a problem since I've got this computer.

The problem is rare, and barely ever happens, but sometimse it does and I don't know why. What will happen is, I'll shut down my computer for the night but it'll have to install updates. Normally, this is fine beause it's only 3-4 updates. But sometimes it needs 13 updates and I update regularly. So I let it do its thing but at some point, it stops and won't continue to update. Like last night, it stopped at 8, and no matter how long I waited. My cursor was doing its circle loading and nothing changed. Now, it's done this before, and I've waited hours, I've even gone to sleep for the night and came back to it. And the only way to fix it was to turn my computer off and then on again against directions, which when I did, it started the "windows did not shut down successfully" start up and ended up loading slow.

My question is, why does it do this, and is there anyway to counter it? It's always when I have 13 updates.
Doesn't need help as fast anymore ;)
