PC not booting properly.
« on: May 17, 2012, 01:16:01 PM »
Hoping someone could solve my dilemma.
Software/Driver? I've disabled/enabled one at a time the 3 controllers I found in the BIOS and the issue persists.
Or, the Power and Reset cables are on the correct pins, but could one or both be upside down? On those 2 cables, white(not black) is the common color so would white be ground?
Along w/ a few upgraded parts, installed 7 to new SSD.
The PC has to be reset after Power On to get it to boot.
It then boots to the screens posted at photobucket in the link below.
Screen 1 - after USB Controllers... it counts down the MB of memory and stops the count @ 79xx altho 8192 is installed. Then proceeds to:
Screen 2 - here it will list the SSD as seen and the hdd and od before continuing to
Screen 3's System Configuration.
After timer or <esc>, it will boot to windows.

The password to this album with the 3 screenshots is 3xbootup

Did you run the default BIOS configuration? Make sure the hard drive is on first boot sequence. Check also if you have quick boot option to enable.
