    Battery charging problems.

    Please is my problem formation.
       I've Dell Latitude x300 laptop on media base with two batteries 40% and 20% health each one. But charging hasn't gone at once when adapter cord connected. Battery icon in left-right corner shows an work AC adapter's input without charging empty batteries. But charging being switched regularly on without as estimated in any time by several hours later.
       Please a reference to resolve.

      Does your charger/adapter power the computer with the battery removed?truenorth

        Yes, computer are working without one battery even without two ones!

          Just read a review on this laptop and generally it is very well rated.I did notice that one of its mentioned attributes is that it comes with a full 3 year warranty. So depending on how long you have had it if the problem is not a battery (because i doubt that 3 years is also on the battery) you might still have use of the warranty. Which battery do you have the 28whr or the 65whr battery? truenorth

            Seeing your minds' run I dare to suppose that updating issue are playing primary role. No, among new Dell warranty machines row my computer haven't appointed. But manufacturer's site has a BIOS update version driver seems like picked up by my computer service tag number. So does I need to begin proceed upgrade ?

              My mind was NOT running in the direction of an upgrade to any of the software.I was concerned with a hardware issue such as the charger/adapter or the battery itself.truenorth
