     >:(I have a blue screen, and have no controls. What do I do?

    Please provide as much information as you can about your system, your problem and what led up to it, and EXACTLY what is happening.

    Its a blue screen caused by :

    A corrupt boot.ini

    or

    A bad hard drive

    General hard drive corruption can also cause this.

    Depending on the OS it can be caused by any number of reasons. It can even be a bad cable. If he was recently inside the case he might have knocked a cable loose. I appreciate you trying to educate me on one of the more basic error messages, but now please let the OP respond to my question. While it's more than likely it is indeed a corrupt boot file or bad hard drive, I prefer to have as mush information as possible before suggesting a solution. Thank you.
