A little feedback on my PC build
    « on: September 10, 2012, 01:37:33 PM »
    Hi

Would like some feedback on the build I'm thinking of buying for maxed settings gaming

    Intel Core i5 3570K @ 4.3Ghz
    Radeon HD 7870
    8GB RAM
    Asus P8Z77-V LX
    600 W PSU
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

It's going to cost me £750($1200, €940 with 3 years warranty. I chose the parts myself but I'm wondering what do the more experienced and knowledgeable people think about it. Looking to last about 2 years with it before I upgrade.

    Many thanks in advance :)

    What Brand PSU ? ?
Did you price out the difference for i5 vs. i7 ? ?
    Whose RAM ?

Other than that should serve you well...

      600W Xigmatek PSU
8GB Corsair 1600mhz Vengeance (2x4GB)  (from what I've heard the difference between this and 2133 is minimal)

I'm just wondering this CPU is overclocked @ 4.3Ghz, will I be able to overclock it myself when it gets here even more and what would be the maximum that it would go to? Because I've seen people reaching 5Ghz with it, what things does it depend on? Sorry this isn't part of my first question but I'm just wondering.
