    Create Batch File to read text file

    Dears,
    How can I create a Batch File which will identify number 0 in the text file and immediately trigger a pop out message to alert people. Please help.

    Tell us more about the text file. How was it crated? Does it have some kind of fixed formant like a data record?

    I believe that batch files are frowned upon in computerhope. As in we don't help with them. I could be wrong I usually am.

    That isn't so. The "Microsoft DOS" section is pretty much exclusively about batch scripting. However, what we don't like, and what is unlikely to get much help, is a question with as little information as the one that started this thread.
