My Acer Aspire 5755G has an overheating problem so I followed the instructions in a video to reach my fan and got my HDD, optical disk drive and removed all the required screws at the bottom. But when it came to unscrewing the touchpad, the entire part didn't come on camera properly. So I tried removing it myself and managed to get a few protrusions out of their slots (shown in pic). This took some Herculean effort so I am pretty sure I did it the wrong way. How can I get the whole thing out? My lap is out of warranty so I need to do it myself.
