    Gmail account
    « on: October 14, 2013, 05:22:27 AM »
I have been trying, unsuccessfully, for several days to access this account and I keep getting the message "untrusted connection" Is it safe to bypass this? My poor wife is going crazy without mail.

Most likely yes... but that is a risk you would have to take.

I get the message 'invalid security certificate' Does mean I shouldn't bypass and go in?How would I clear something like this? I've run Malware Bytes and I have
       Avast free on the computer.

There are several things that could cause you to see this, the main one would be a time clock mismatch. In other words make sure your clock is setup correctly and check the battery on your motherboard. Also I am assuming you are using Mozilla Firefox as your browser, please correct me if I am wrong.  There are extensions and instructions that tell you how to bypass these warnings. I would not use those if directed tho, to many unsecure items out there. But if you now you are going to a correct and legitimate website you can move past the warning by continuing. I will never directly tell anyone to do that, I would only tell you what I would do, which is to bypass it move on.

Thanks Chris...When I checked the clock, it read May 26, 2004. I reset it and things improve.
