    downloaded document corruption
    « on: November 24, 2013, 11:34:20 PM »
A document down loaded from a web site by Firefox had text and page numbers missing but headings and images were there. The originator of the document then sent a copy as an attachment to an email. I used Adobe Acrobat to down load it. That copy was also corrupted.

    What format was used? PDF?
Possibly the author used a PDF creator that does not conform to the Adobe standard for PDF.

The author said that over 500 people had downloaded the document without a problem over three years.

      OK, ignore my prior post.
It must be there is something wrong with either Firefox or your computer. My guess is you have a AV program that interferes with downloads.
That idea was expressed on the Mozilla forum years ago.

You would think by now that issue would have been resolved.
