unable to load some web pages
    « on: December 02, 2013, 12:36:53 AM »
Hi. I'm having trouble with my desk top, loading web pages. Some don't load at all and I get a message, "This page can't be displayed." Or in the case of Google.com.au, if it loads, it is very slow. I thought I might have gotten a virus, but I run my Avast virus checker (full scan) to no avail. I've also run Malwarebytes (full Scan) and come up with three detected problems. they are:

    HKCR\AppID\{835315FC-1BF6-4CA9-80CD-F6C158D40692} (PUP.Opional.PriceGong.A)
    HKCR\CLSID\{1AA60054-57D9-4F99-9A55-D0FBFBE7ECD3} (PUP.Optional.BrowseFox.A)
    HKCR\AppID\PriceGongIE.DLL (PUP.Optional.PriceGong.A)

Apart from these the computer is supposed to be OK, but it's not.

    Can someone please help??

I'd like to add that I can use my laptop, plugged into the same modem with no problem.  So it's definitely the computer.

Which internet browser are you using? Have you checked with other browsers other than the one you are using?
