Computer keeps beeping when i try and turn it on

I have had a Emachines computer for about 3 years now, and since about 3 months whenever i try to turn it on, theres nothing on the monitor, and the actual pc keeps beeping forever.  i dont know what is wrong with it, please help. :-/

    I think its a RAM problem.

    Try reseating the RAM.
