    opening amazon.com and moving it to desktop +others

    i am a beginner know very little have dell 760 windows 7 need very basic instruction how to open a site and get it to desk top have asked several people their directions made no sense what they asked me to click on i did not see or they did not get basic enough for me

    First, when you post on this site please use punctuation. You want to make your posts as easy to understand as possible. Thank you.

    Second, right-click on your desktop then select NEW and then SHORTCUT. In the dialog box that appears, type the url (web address) for the site you want to access. Then click on NEXT. Give it a name and click on OK

    Or you can simply left hold down with the mouse and drag it to the Desktop from a minimised window...
