    « on: July 06, 2014, 04:38:06 AM »
My pc turns on and after windows seven logo when i should enter my user account, it does not appear one for me to log in, in fact it does not appear a single buttom where i could press it. I know my monitor is not frozen because i can still move my mouse but have nothing to click on it. This problem appears in every situation after i had yesterday a problem where my pc displayed operating system not found. If tried a lot of things but nothing ever works...

    I have a Sony Vaio VPCEB1M1E
    I3 intel
    Bios version: R0300Y8
    EC Version : K03000Y8
    ME Version: 6.0.3.1195

I do not know if this info is necessary but if you need more info, as long as you tell me where to get it i can provide it.

    Best Regards, Bigmamo.

You should run a diagnostic on the hard drive. You will need to create a boot disk to get into your computer to see the maker of your hard drive. Then, you can run the diagnostic on the drive.Once you are able to boot your computer from the disk you should save your important videos, pictures, music and personal files to an external harddrive or DVD's .

We are going to be using a Windows Recovery Environment to help disinfect the system so it may boot again.

Download the OTLPE Standard REATOGO Windows Recovery Environment.
      • Place a blank CD-R disc in to your CD burning drive.
      • Download OTLPEStd.exe and double-click on it to burn to a CD using an ISO Burner. One can be found here.
      • Reboot your system using the boot CD you just created.
      • Note : If you do not know how to set your computer to boot from CD follow the steps here
      • Your system should now display a REATOGO-X-PE desktop.
      • Double-click on the OTLPE icon.
      • When asked "Do you wish to load the remote registry", select Yes
      • When asked "Do you wish to load remote user profile(s) for scanning", select Yes
      • Ensure the box "Automatically Load All Remaining Users" is checked and press OK
      • OTL should now start. Change the following settings
      • Change Drivers to Non-Microsoft
      • Press Run Scan to start the scan.
      • When finished, the file will be saved  in drive C:\_OTL\MovedFiles
      • Copy this file to your USB drive if you do not have internet connection on this system
      • Please post the contents of the OTL.txt file in your reply.
      ***************************************
      Run hard drive diagnostics: tacktech.com
Make sure, you select tool, which is appropriate for the brand of your hard drive.
Depending on the program, it'll create bootable floppy, or bootable CD.
If downloaded file is of .iso type, use ImgBurn: imgburn to burn .iso file to a CD (select "Write image file to disc" option), and make the CD bootable.
For Toshiba hard drives, see here:

Note : If you do not know how to set your computer to boot from CD follow the steps here

By the way my computer does not recognize my C: because i tried to clean it and/or resolve problems with vaio assist care and it said it could not locate C: because it was too small or it could not be found.
Can this be also resolved with what you said or you think it may result from a completely different problem that my computer may have?

If Viao clean didnt run completely im afraid Windows is wonked...
You could maybe rescue things with a repair install...but i think your looking at re-installing...
