Carrying python from computer-computer flash drive
« on: August 29, 2014, 05:16:51 PM »
Yesterday, I begin to learn python on an app called udacity (yes it is an app) but I want to work my own computer not my work computer. The only reason I am asking this is because I don't have internet for my computer and I don't have any web protection and I have had bad time with free ones.
I don't know if python needs internet. But these are the spects.
Flash drive: 5 gb
Computer: windows Xp home edition
Com space: more than need trust me...
Any help is appreciated.....
Thanks
(Sorry for bad spell if any)

The OP may wish to try Portable Python
http://portablepython.com/
Quote
rge set of third party python libraries - NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, PyWin32, Django, PIL, wxPython, PyQt, PyGame, etc. code editors - PyCharm, PyScripter and IDLE all packaged in a single installer.
...
Portable Python is intended for use on the Windows OS and can be installed directly on USB, network or local hard drive. Its powerfull launchers do all the work of pre-configuring the Python environment before starting any of the built-in applications.
The packages is about 65 Mb and does not require Internet for installation from a USB device.
Click on link above for downloads.
