I have an old gateway EV910 monitor hooked up to a 1 year old computer - windows XP. After i am on the computer for a few hours - the monitor goes blank and a message pops up - "Out of Frequency" and the message shows my HF and VF frequency is lower than what the operating HF and VF frequency should be. The monitor goes to stand by after 17 seconds. If I turn off the monitor and turn it back on - the same message pops up and goes to stand by again after 17 seconds. (It shows you the count down.) I then have to re-start my computer to clear it up. After running a while it does it again.
